 Welcome to Lee Free Music. I'm Lee Free, a drummer, composer and performer based in my home town Brooklyn, NY. Fall 2011 was a great success, touring with MEN was a blast, and thanks to all who came out to Dixon Place for She Recognized My Magic. The interviews and lessons from Brooklyn Bike Beat* are posted! I've been test driving the bike instrument and will do a special performance at Recycle-a-Bicycle's fundraiser at Housing Works December 5, 2011!
The last days of 2011 have got me busy with festivals, recording projects and BEAT THE COLD, a very special drum clinic in Mancos, Colorado! Electric Junkyard Gamelan travels to Barcelona for the International Festival of Recycling Arts! Shirlala flys to Detroit! I'm also in the studio recording the intro music and sound fx for SEZ ME, a new children's show created by animator Mor Erlich!
